I'm about to go tree planting. I do not want those miserable goddamned mosqutos taking five years off my life with bites.

What can I do to protect my body from these guys, without overheating during my workload? I was thinking a long-sleeved button-shirt, with a bandana around my neck, and a boonie hat that could have a net draped around if necessary

However, I realize that the skeeters can bite through light fabrics. Is this good enough? I don't want to cover myself in DEET poison by the way
