I've only spent considerable time in 8 states and want to expand my travels. But which States would you suggest are the best in terms of their natural beauty?

Minnesota should be a 5 or 6 easily. The west is trash but the east, from the very north to the very south, is fucking prime.
Also I think southern California brings the overall score down by one. Too many people, not enough nice land unless you're really into deserts.

Alot of central and south is flood plain and farm land, the National forests and parks are nice but most of it is pretty underwelming. The state itself? Little rock is a hell hole and the northwest corner is only growing as an area because of all the industry wally world brings in. I'm getting
