if you don't have years of practice, you're not going to succeed. people who are experienced and strong have a difficult time doing it.
if you don't have experience living 'in the wild' our best bet is to stick to civilization, the fringes at least. seriously, try dumpster diving for your food and drinking from public faucets for a week and see what it's like when it's easy to feed yourself before you go off into the woods where you have to scrounge for everything.
