Yes I know I'm not the lightest in my setup but some critique would be good, mostly on if I should bother with a tarp at all and why not to just take a proper tent?

That is the link to some pictures of my setup, It consists of:

>1.8kg - Zeltbahn, Groundsheet, 10x Stakes, 3 parts of Rope, 2x Straps

>2.3kg - Zeltbahn, Groundsheet, 10x Stakes, 3 parts of Rope, 4x Wooden Poles, 2x Straps

and these two tents for comparison

>2.8kg - Gelert Rocky 2 tent

>1.8kg - Gelert Track 1 tent

How could it be improved? Perhaps some mosquito netting?

The main benefit I have found is the easier weight distribution and the fact that it is more compact.
