hey /out/ im running a tiny 12foot aluminum boat here in Ontario, Canada. I just bought a minn kota electric trolling motor and a small dashmount-style solar charger. obviously i just have to use 2 wires to hook that up to my battery. My question is can i use an automotive portable booster pack to charge my deep cell marine battery? or do i require a trickle charge unit?
