So I've been racking my brains on whether to get a 1P or 2P tent for solo backpacking. The tents I have in mind have a different of 1lb between the 1P and 2P; the single weighing in at around 2lb, and the double weighing in at around 3lb. The pros and cons should be fairly obvious.. it comes down to livable space, vestibule size, and free standing versus semi-free standing.

Instead of debating with myself any further--which is leading nowhere fast--I'm looking to pick the brains of others, and their experience with both 1P and 2P tents.. and what they might recommend for someone who intends to travel solo.
