I love my hiking boots, but I'm not so sure my feet do. I've had them for a good year now and they probably have close to 200 miles on them; well broken in. I can't get more than 11-ish miles until my dogs start barking and I have to pitch camp. They're sized correctly, I've tried multiple insoles.. my feet just can't get used to them.
Now... I like boots. If I had my say I'd stay with them, but I'm starting to think it may be the weight causing my feet to work harder at longer distances. Should I try going with a lighter shoe style? Is it just this brand of boot that's not working for me? Should I still keep looking for other boots, or will it be a waste of money when I want to crunch more miles?
