Why is it so hard to find people to hike and cave with in south west pa...? It's like everyone becomes lazy after 23.

For me, it's friends getting tied up with family things.
A lot of Bushcraft guys on YouTube seem to be held down by family responsibilities too, a wife and kids, although they never word it like that. Sometimes I wonder if having a S.O. is worth the trouble. It seems people are always complaining about theirs.

a wife is important if you want to advance socially. for 2 reasons. one, for the others guys wives to socialize with. and two, it proves at a glance that you are not completely anti social. this broad puts up with you so your co workers can too.

but unless you are playing that game, a wife is just too much trouble.
