I was out fishing today and caught a turtle by accident. Its shell was about the size of my hand. The hook went through his mouth and came out of his nose. I couldn't get the hook out and eventually just had to let him go with the hook in his mouth. I think I could have gotten the hook out if I had my multi-tool with me for a second pair of pliers to hold the hook while I cut the end you tie on and the pulled it out with the sharp part. Anyone know how to get a hook out of a turtle? Also, after doing some reading it looks like he will be dead to to nerve damage and unable to open his mouth, though it looks like he shouldn't have a problem eating with the way the hook is set.
