>>1297393you know, technically taking almost anything into the wilderness is because of convenience
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKY9ZxM29PUtechnically if you wanted to you can bushcraft virtually everything you need to survive in the wilderness, the bare minimum because of the time it would take to flintknap a knife and stone boil something you could drink water could justify bringing a knife and a metal cup or something for boiling water, but beyond that if you wanted to truly be as light as you can be you would save the weight of the flint and striker and just make a bow drill on site.
Hence my reply
>>1295587you don't need a tarp technically, you can bushcraft a lean to, and why make a groundsheet when you can use a pile of leaves?
Just by taking any camping equipment whatsoever, your already deciding to forego being lightweight in favour of convenience, so not choosing to take a lighter with you in addition to a ferro rod because it's "extra weight" is just as stupid as taking not anything at all on the principle that it's "extra weight."
Also don't use autistic as a general insult, it's generally used as a term to describe someone that has a fixed enthrallment with something, often to the point where they disreguard/become or are unaware of social norms and the broader context of reality in general.
If your going to use terms on 4chan, don't be a newfag and make sure you understand how to use them before you do so. (and yes I know the word "autism" didn't originate from 4chan, i'm talking about the context it's in here.)
