I'm looking at buying a lifesaver bottle but I'm finding a lack of info on the difference between the 4000 and 6000 models.

I get the fact the 6000 filters more water in its lifetime, but I see some indications that it also holds more water than the 4000?

If the capacity is the same ill go for the 4000 , but if the 6000 holds more I'd prefer to get that.

Which would you get /out? The most it will be used for is 3-7 day innawoods activity
