The people you are talking about are suburban mongoliods who couldn't even name 5 native plants. Those people arent bad, immoral people, the are ignorant and are making a simple economic descions to better their lives. It's a cultural problem, people aren't living in the living world. Look at people living traditional lives in South and central America, they literally die to protect their home. Ecology, the science of home, the problem is people are living in an ecology of supermarkets and concrete.
You could easily be like the people you hate so much, we all have the same potential for good and bad.
I used to think exactly like you, it's a desperate cyncism that solves nothing and makes you miserable. Go be a student and teacher of life instead of obsessing over death.
