I have ten nights out west this coming mid-late August and I will be spending the first three nights a bit outside of Denver and the last three nights in Salt Lake City. I have four nights to bounce between various national park (I'm open to non-NP sites as well) locales, and the following have struck my interest as I've played with various routes on google maps:
- Black Canyon of the Gunnison
- Mesa Verde
- Canyonlands
- Arches
- Capitol Reef
Realistically it's probably best to do only three or four (with four pushing it) of these places between Denver and SLC right? Any /out/doorsfolk have suggestions on the best itinerary?
