In the very early stages of planning a rocky mountains/west coast road trip. See pic for very first draft without all of my stops even in there.

I'm looking for suggestions. What are the "must do's" for each of the state in pic.

Also any 'rough' estimates of how much money this would cost per person for food, fuel, camp/park permits assuming we have all other gear needed.

Considerations:

Start and end point is Denver, CO.

Time of course is of essence. A lot of stops might be single day or half day. Tops, I'll have 2 weeks for the trip.

I excluded NM and NV, did i fuck up? seems hard to make the states work as far as completing the loop in a timely fashion.

If necessary, i'd prioritize fewer stops for more time.

Planning on camping as much as possible.
