>>1307556Nah, don't have an "abnormal fear" of ticks, mosquitoes, poison ivy, poisonous mushrooms, or anything else. I recognize they have some role in the ecological web (so do smallpox and Vibrio flesh eating bacteria, doesn't mean I have to like them.)
But let's also not overplay the role that specifically toxic fungi play in a forest. Yes, poison ivy releases CO2 like all things green, but so do hundreds of other plants. Same with, say, Amanita muscaria. If I eradicated it from an area (pretty tough to do) there would still be hundreds of benign fungi to do its job.
I also have my 120-year-old wood frame home treated for termites. I know, I'm an eco-villain. Tell me all about how you love the widdle termies and they're an important part of nature and I just have a small dick and an irrational fear of bugs.
Luckily, autists like you won't be breeding much.
