Something I've wanted to do too, but I've heard that cherry trees are basically suicidal and yearn for the sweet release of death. But I really, really like cherries.

Rainer are probably the best choice. We just got a couple of sour cherry trees but they will mainly for making jams, pies and alcohol. Father and mother in law are giving me their recipes from Poland so i.am pumped for the alcohol part.
