Here in Puerto Rico, we have a biome known as the "Karst Belt" along the North. It is characterized by haystack hills (mogotes), rugged limestone rocks, sinkholes in between the hills, and frequent caves.
I made this layout with that in mind, light enough to traverse the territory quickly. Shelter and food/water is unnecessary when there are caves, birds, and streams around every corner.
