Shoes are either way too tight or way too loose. I never get heal blisters, always wear proper fit shoes and boots. Now toe and front pad blisters... maybe after a 12+mile sweaty foot hike, still rare.

You need to get the book "Fixing your feet" written by ultra marathoners who have dealt with every possible foot issue. If you can't find a solution to your issue in that book, you probably shouldn't be going outside.

Throw away all of your cotton socks. Only use socks made of wool/synthetic blends, specifically designed for hiking. Lately I've been using the four-packs of gray socks they sell at Cabelas for about $20 whenever I go to the big city. They seem to last long enough.

Cotton is the death fabric, gets cold and clammy, holds onto sweat, takes forever to dry. I rarely wear it, maybe on super hot days.

Duct tape is sheets of aluminum, and actually heat resistant.

Buy new shoes.
Buy comfort shoes. The ones that's breathable, light, and have soft cushion.

Agree with this. Another solution I learned from a runner friend is to apply Bodyglide to your feet before any particularly hot/sandy/extra long run or hike. It feels a little weird putting what is essentially hella thick deodorant bar on your feet, but it’s worked for me

Looks like your socks are the wrong material or not T H I C C enough. I trust you already have suitable hiking boots. Get wool socks that look like they're straight out of a skiing vacation advert. I've just done several days of hiking last week and I could feel some sore spots on my feet at the end of the day, but not a single blister, whereas I've gotten blisters in the past solely from walking to school with shitty socks and shitty shoes for 45 minutes.

There was something my ma told me about preventing blisters. If you're going hiking, wear 2 thin pairs of socks. the socks will rub against each other instead of against your skin.

Wear a thin sock and a wool sock over it.
If it's really bad then wrap your feet in elastic band aid (not quite sure what you call it in english). Make sure it's wide enough to cover your foot from arch and up over the heel (about 10 - 15cm). And for the love of god make sure there are no folds!
If you get blisters don't remove the bandaid, but poke a hole in the top and bottom of the blister (in the walking direction of your foot).

Second get good thick socks.
Finally buy a candle and some lard, melt and mix the lard and the wax in a 50/50 ratio, apply to chaffing areas of the foot before long walks.

Just take a small roll of duct tape with you. I can’t tell you how many times duct tape has saved my feet on long backpacking trips. I always get blisters no matter how much I prepare too but as soon as I feel one coming on, I slap some duct tape over it, ignore the pain and continue. Duct tape is truly god’s gift to backpackers.
