those trees in the first pic don't look insanely old. Im guessing the property owners log it now and then. unless its being logged for development and not to harvest then replant, in that case F to your /out/ area OP

Bummer.
Sometimes I autistically fantasize myself as being Treebeard rekking logging equipment and preventing this from happening. Even though responsible logging of new growth trees is supposedly better for the environment than not doing it so idk.

sucks. but not to bad the area will revitalize in 1-4 years even when you don't replant or help it gets green fast. thought trees will take some time.
