The best coffee I've ever made personally came out of an Aeropress. Those things are fucking magic and that is my go-to for car camping or short hike backpacking.
>>1314820Hell yeah man, I used to have one of those old school percs as well. It's almost ritualistic, waking up and getting the fire started, fetching water from a stream or lake, boil and adding the coffee... Takes like 30 minutes but was always worth it.
>>1315051>Medaglia D'OroThat's the worst instant I've had... I usually reserve it for friends who didn't bring coffee and are trying to steal my grounds. More power to you if you like it though, that stuff is cheap and easy to hike with.
I've been playing with this Espro I got as a gift from work, and it's pretty nice. I'm still on the fence of using this and carrying and extra container or using the aeropress and a collapsible cup. Benefits and cons to both.
As for instant stuff, I've really liked Fat Fuel / Fat Coffee, works well with my diet and tastes pretty damn good. The downside is it's expensive and a little bulky, not weight but volume.
