All of them either did lots of weight training and crossfit-type stuff, had 4-years both in & "out" of the military, or did hard manual labor like building contractor work (actual work-related injuries, not just strenuous stuff). I'm the only one that doesn't take pain medication every day. Your joints have a limited number of actuations they can perform in a life time. It is a curve, but you can really wreck that curve if you do lots of unnecessary training. Yes, your body can heal, but it will never be as good as it could be had you not done those things in the first place.
