So I am considering a log cabin home in a sub division... since I dont want a cookie cutter home.
luckily its not right up against the road.. its back behind some bushes / trees on about 2 acres.. one neighbor on the left is about 2 football fields away the other even more.. and behind the fenced in back yard is woods... with a 2 floor barn with electricity too. The back deck afixxed to the rear of the log cabin is complete horse shit rotted and and dirty. It was some old man previous owner..

I been watching youtube videos about getting a good home inspection... but if anyone else can share some info Id much appreciate it.

The previous owner was kinda prepper.. with power inverters mounted on a few walls, a large wood furnace.
The roof is in the shape of a MM if that makes sense.. not a upside down V.
Unfortunately he put down some fucking carpet in some of the rooms... and there is a scent.

The real estate guy already told me about some "minor" problems: water damaged floor where the washer dryer was.. and a botched rear outside deck install that let rain not flow away from the house... it has a crawl space. As I dont know much about construction.. I assume its a prefab timber kit house. Not a shell of a log cabin. I got no pics at this time, sorry.
