So, I bought this on Prime day, supposed to be here today (Tuesday) What cool stuff can I do with it?
I don't plan to broadcast with it unless I needed help but I wanted something I could listen to and was portable.
Maybe even I could use it to help someone else?
Curious as to how you program it via the computer is their any guides?

Well I it's here have it on recharger right now I have it on scan right now volume is high enough I can hear the AI voice it's been scanning now for at least an hour and a half I haven't heard anyone talking a few times it stops and has a green light but then goes back to scanning.
I'm trying to figure out what feq not to transmit on was curious if their is away I can talk with truckers using this Two Way radio.

family radio service is like 462.5625 right? Would that be Wide or narrow band? I set the step to 5.0k Was curious as to how you change the channels ? I can't even figure out what channel I'm on or if there even is a channel.
I'm just trying to stay away from shit that shouldn't be broadcast on but still have this in case some shit happens

It's super illegal to use this chink shit in the US. Use it sparingly and never on frequencies with lots of users or used by gov personnel. Never have it visible when there are people around you.

You're not smart enough. Get a Midland handheld. Channels are just band plans so the dumbs don't overlap each other. You'll need to know the frequencies that each channel is on. After that you can adjust the step up to more efficiently scan channels. Google channel frequencies. Murs frequencies, etc.

It's fine to use it on non-ham frequencies. It's perfectly legal to use if you have a ham license. You know hams used to just build radios, right?

the only thing i pick up is regular radio with the stand along model, but I haven't tried much. now with something like that(portable) I have picked up police and fire somewhere. you have to read the instructions. they are kinda funky operating.

Was curious to know how many questions are their in the technician exam?
Is it really just 35? Or is there like 35 different possible questions for say like 400 possible random questions that can be part of the 35 questions.
Was curious to if it costs money to take the exam.

The tests are a random assortment from each category within the pools

You have different steps you can set I'm not sure wtf they mean by channel I know with like these consumer wakie talkies you can switch from a channel but with this I don't even know what channel I'm on and then their is bunch of other shit I don't know what the it is.
Their are videos that show you how to do stuff but I think they left shit out.
My programming cable is supposed to be here on Saturday so hopefully I'll have better luck with using it.
Consumer radios are shit.
But everything has a learning curve.
Took me a year to figure out how to use a EQ mount correctly so why not this.
