>>1321530Yeah no it is an event that is actually set up for failure like that. Idk if you've ever been on a bike but it's obviously impossible to go fast around that track. The event is less "who can ride the bike fastest" and more "who can fall less and get back on the quickest"
One of the winners in the men's heat literally just started flipping/tossing his bike toward the finish line and running behind it.
It's supposed to be fun to watch in a slapstick way, not in an appreciation of skill kind of way.
