Stepped on mister snek coiled up under a little bit of leaf cover, and got tagged above my boot and also on the boot. Venom was on my boot, ironically.
Pulled out ye olde snake bite kit and turned my leg into a mummy and waited for the rural ambulance, whom picked me up and dropped me off at an ED. 24 hours of fun ensued.
Mildly envenomed; first bite on the ankle didn't inject much, with the shoe bite splattering it (snake seemed to have been cold and sleeping). Mostly headaches, confusion, sweats and stomach cramps. Blood was pretty good, though. No thinning. Neuro signs were strong too.
