I'm still on the hunt for a cook hiking/backpacking chair. I have a flexlite that comes in at 2lbs but want a lighter option. Sitpads are great, I own a few, but actually want a legitamate seat. I'm now eying REI's trail stool that comes in at 1lb; it doesn't collapse as well as the flexlite but it shaves a pound. If anyone knows of a better alternative I'm all ears.
