I’ve never been to Kings Canyon but if it’s like every other national park in the fucking country then you’re going to have a ton of campgrounds for normies and then also wilderness areas for autistic backpackers. The latter is what you want. it’s free, it’s far more isolated, and a far more /out/ experience overall.
