I recently bought my first vehicle, a jeep cherokee trailhawk. I plan on going for a road trip before the camping season is over. Glacier National Park is on the top of my list right now.

Anyways, I was curious if you guys would recommend an SUV tent (pic related) or a regular stand-alone tent. I've never seen an SUV tent before today, and having direct access to my vehicle is appealing. Any 'gotchas' with this kind of tent? Are they a pain in the ass to set up or in any way worse than a nice standalone tent?
