>>1335815it really depends how you camp. so for me I have a 32 L deuter rise pro that I would say is just barely adequate for everything I need for a 2-3 day trip. your listed bag is a lot bigger at 86L and probably twice as heavy unloaded right off the bat. I have more or less streamlined my gear so that it is modestly compact and I know I can get away with taking less of some things as well. If you're new to things, there's a couple of routes to go. Buy this bag, at least you have lots of space and if you don't fill the pack then great it's just extra space. It also leaves your options open for longer trips potentially and bulkier gear. The other option is you get all your gear together and figure out how much volume you need for all the things you need for 3 or 4 days and then get a bag that fits all that and has a little to spare. I'd probably be looking at a 45-50L sized pack for 3 or 4 days myself as a gauge. Also at 145lb weight I can tell you I can't really carry more than 60lb consistently and not get knee problems. I think I tend to carry 30-35lb for camping where I'm covering longer distances in up and down terrain.
My personal shill is for deuter bags. They're a little pricey and a little heavier but they are well thought out, comfortable on long hikes, and can take a severe beating. I use a Rise Tour 45+ for work (mining surveys) and I can't understand how that thing is not torn to pieces. I bought it used too.
the futura vario 50+10 is probably the most comparable currently available model. here's a review of that pack to give you and idea of what kind of stuff is out there
