I wonder if anyone of you is somewhat experienced in making traps to catch smaller live animals like rabbits. Does anyone have useful info material about trapping in general? Commendable books about the subject? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

The Trapper's Bible by Dale Martin is a starting point all be it not the best.

Good resorcess that I have found are http://www.trapperman.com mainly the forums and http://www.fntpost.com.

Please bear (yep I said that) in mind most people do not understand it and it is shunned with some regularity.

appearently you are unaware that people today and in the recent and long past have hunted rabbits and/or raised rabbits for the specific purpose of eating them.
a relatively small group of people (family of 3-6 persons for example) can easily consume a dozen rabbits in a 5-7 day period
