i was out for a afternoon hike with my daughter near my hometown of boulder, colorado the other day and i encountered some men dressed in camofluage near the trailhead. most people on the trail wear shorts and t shirts so i was a little bit confused. i saw one of them had a large caliber handgun on his belt, and i started to get a little bet nervous. i asked them if they were in the army, and they replied that they were hunters scouting for elk. because of these fuckers i had to explain what hunting (murder of animals) was to my daughter, and she is still upset. what are some good arguments to say to hunters in public to shut them up? i was thinking of printing off some articles about the suffering of animals and lead damage to the environment from bullets but i don't know if that will sway them. any thoughts?
