Fist Aid is: "help given to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available"
Stitching a wound falls under the category of full medical treatment.
Besides, there is a huge difference between placticing stitching on a dummy and doing it ON YOURSELF, after blood loss, in the middle of the wild.
At that point youd be better off applying direct pressure to stop the bleeding, cleaning the wound, covering it and finding help, even if you know how to stitch a wound.
Even steri strips would be prefferable over stitching yourself in the wild.
But what can I expect of someone that lists tourniquets, stitching kid and cigarretes over actual first aid gear.
