i am happy people want to experience nature, but during last year's superbloom in Carrizo Plain, i wanted to yell at all the people who were wandering about the flowers, taking selfies, and cutting them

People who aren't into the outdoors will for the most part stay on the easy short trails. Unless you're hiking on those trails the vast majority of the people you meet will be fine people who respect LNT and the outdoors.
