Nervous about camping alone. I want to do a backpacking trip in nh since driving for day hikes sucks. I'm afraid of bears or coyotes messing with me and I'm from a noguns state. Done my share of camping years ago but not recently.

I know I'm being a pussy, any suggestions? I think once I get out there I'll be fine. I also know they'll definitely be something prowling around and I want to get some sleep and not just he spooked all night.
