I bring a few garbage bags with me and some paper bags so I can bag any trash I find. The paper bags are for broken glass. I had not been to one section of a local stream for a few years. It was full of broken glass already. I had it nearly 100% clean long ago. Kind of disheartening really.

Very cool. Besides deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits, I haven't seen any other mammals while out. Plenty of reptiles however.
