Hey my fellow fellows. I was just wondering if anyone had any good 4x4 all round vehicles they could reccommed me. Don’t have to be modern or flashy. Just need to be able to get the job done. (River crossings and uphill offroading)

Jeep Cherokee. You won’t get a better bang for your buck and the power to weight ratio is unrivaled in this years. Watch out for 99-2000 models because they had a bad batch of head gaskets. 3rd gen 4runners are great but way overpriced. Avoid second gen 3.0 4runners unless it’s had a head gasket replaced. If you want a truck I would strongly advise getting a full-size over a ranger or Tacoma because there is practically no mpg difference in 4x4 models.

I’ve taken my 96 Corolla up the mountain many times. Got stuck many times.

4x4 is a meme for small dick syndrome. Only reason you should ever need one is to pull a boat or camper.
