Whilst /out/ has anyone ever given you cause to fear for your safety?
I have two incidences from childhood: the first is when me and a friend were playing in a forest, and out of nowhere a hobo-looking guy with a shaggy beard and a chainsaw started walking towards us and he just looked weird and unfriendly. He genuinely scared us to the point we fled deeper into the forest to hide from him.
Another time (again, as children) me and a group of friends were playing on some wasteground in the middle of nowhere. Around 300-400 meters away two figures appeared and pointed at us. They then started running towards us, so we fled as quickly as we could.
Does anyone else have any experiences they can recall where they felt intimidated by strangers?
