I need a cheap, reasonably light 1 person tent in a hard to spot color.
Price and size are a priority, I can carry a bit more if needed.
I'm in eastern europe

There's a 1/2 person tent from decathlon that goes for about 20Euro. I have one and it's pretty good. It weighs 2.2kg.

you're overestimating
it's a roll about 4.5-5 inches wide by about 14 inches including poles and the bug net is a stuff sack the size of a beer can

it is heavy
but it's not that big

Not technically a tent but something to consider if you have decathlon in your town. They have pretty nice quechua tarp they offer as tent accessory. It's fairly durable, light and prolly the cheapest thing after used army gear. Ditch the poles though, they're heavy as fuck and branches or trekking poles will do the job.

Works wonders for me when hiking alone

Where are you from? I think you might be able to order the ones you can find online from the site of decathlon of your country. I think around 2kg is reasonable if you want to stay within budget. Ultralight shit is usually pretty pricey and not by that much lighter.

all have light weight, one man options with floors that are very reasonably priced. I have the tarptent protrail and love it one you manage condensation issues. they also fall over if you get too freaky and pop a stake

Snugpak I'd rate, got their Ionosphere for the Pennine Way at /out/'s recommendation. Mosquito net inside was great. Don't really have mozzies in the UK but it stopped some nasty looking spiders from biting my balls during the night. It's very low profile, both in colour and in silhouette. Only downside is the price, but it's worth it for a tough, good tent.

Oh yeah, the pack it comes with is a full on dry bag too that compresses really well. Only weighs a couple of kilos.

Id say look up the salewa micra. Its about 130-150 euro and a decent tent. Weight is about 2,4kg. I dont own it but i think its the best budget alround tent you will find. Only problem might be the colour

These are super light and double as a tent. You just need to bring a small tarp to work as a fly. Lighter than any tent - but I've never tried it so I can't really vouch for it.

german army tent. costs about 20-30€ with poles (sometimes available for ~15€ without them), can be used as a tarp, split into two for transport in haversacks, can be used as a poncho or cloak and comes in Flecktarn. The whole thing rolls up about the size of a small sleeping bag (full tent) or around the size of a two litre bottle (half tent).
Formally, it's a two-person tent, but that's only if you have no backpacks and sleep halfway atop another.

Small. The longest diameter needed are for aluminium poles that go down to about 25cm length. The rest can fit to a gas mask bag.

Bivvies are intended to be used as emergency shelters. They're easy to set up under difficult conditions and will keep you alive if you're stuck out in the snow. They are also low-lying, which makes them less susceptible to wind than a normal tent.

Sounds like you've got more considerations than just price and size. If you're planning on bumming around and mostly travelling through urban areas invest in a bivy or swag since it'll be super low profile and you can even use it inside.

You should really consider looking into a tent that is standalone and that doesn't need to be pegged into the ground to stand up. Those things really limit you in an urban environment and are what many cheap tents are.

I never understood the point of this besides protection from rain. During summer it won't keep bugs out. And theres no way you're so weak you can't carry normal sized tent, most only weigh 5-10 pounds, so why suffer with a tarp

Well I mean yeah but sometimes you don't want to carry 5-10 pounds worth of tent, especially going a longer distance where cutting some permanent weight can take some strain off and let you go a longer distance in a more comfy fashion or go for more weight in a different area like food or photography supplies or whatever comes to mind.

Sometimes that's all you need.

I might not trust it in winter but in winter you don't necessarily have to carry all your shit on your back.
