>>1358756>I stopped caring. If I avoided every piece of outdoor gear that some faggot bugman has used as a fashion accessory, Id be left with nothing to wear.Yeah, kinda the same here, but it still annoys me. Not so much that I'll sperg about it IRL, but still…
Also, I have the feeling that if something becomes "in" the prices rise, even though you'd expect that more supply would lower them.
Case in point:
Randonee/backcountry/freeride skiing. Back in the day, you used to have a few specialiced brands and one or two models from the big ski brands, all very niche and all very expensive. Nowadays, the niche brands are big players, the big players have dozens of models and on top of that you have dozens of new boutique brands and thus in some resorts 50% of the stuff on the slopes is backcountry gear. so you'd expect prices to drop due to competition. But yeah, no. Stuff's much more expensive nowadays.
Fuck, I forgot to buy some new skis to replace mine that I broke last winter. Gotta hurry to see if I can still get some at summer prices.
Oh well, I guess a few more years and they'll move over to the next subject.
