>>1365718I own 5 of the East german Zeltbahns and I use them all the time. You pitch two together to make a little triangle tent, its nothing like the polish "lavvu". This tent we call "dackelgarage" in germany. The russian PP has ONE arm opening, the german Zeltbahn has zwei! So, plash palatka and East german NVA Zeltbahn are construction wise the same thing, both 1.75x1.75 meters square shaped canvas tarps, the only difference between the two is the arm hole, the age, camo and the buttons. The polish ponchotent is a completely different shape (better in my opinion because bigger and easier to set up). I think there was another "zeltbahn" in Strichtarn camo that was triangular, but it was not german, maybe czech.
