The desert is way better than any other climate. The nights are perfect, the days are hot, but I hope to God you're in a slot canyon or near a river. I've been canyoneering for a couple years and I will never go back to mountaineering. The desert is downright the best shit on the planet.

If someone resorts to sleeping inside a carcass they probably dont really mind the meat being a little bit dirty in the end. Or just dont skin the animal before sleeping inside the cavity. Not much meat inside the cavity. After sleeping inside, you can skin the animal and the meat underneath the skin will be clean.
