>>1373483>>small (3") craw baits, texas riggedI've tried these, without any luck ever**
>>inline spinners (rooster tails, mepps etc)The sunfish will sometimes go after these, but lately the only thing I've caught on them is previous post's pic quite related. Otherwise, no response to them.
>>small crankbaitsI have a two-inch lipless (like a Rat-L-Trap in style, but small). Would that be alright? I also have one of those little snap beans in bright-ass blue, and a Bitsy Minnow in a baby bass (there were none that looked like a sunfish) which the longeared sunfish LOVE to attack while they're spawning. Otherwise, no response to those.
However, I've had follows by bass earlier this summer fishing a more normal sized squarebill, but not bites.**
>>senkoSpecifically Senkos?
How much does color matter? I haven't had any luck on any Texas-rigged Senkos this entire spring and summer** but I have bought some worms of various types to stock up. I have a grey, bubblegum, and green pumpkin. Again, no bites on Texas rig or shakey head.**
I have had some success with a Ned rig, though I've seen (the water is super clear) the bog bass charge and look, and then a dink runs up to grab it.
I've got various types of craws, swim baits, lizards, finesse worms, and some other soft plastics as well.
**I have no fucking clue what I'm doing wrong. I don't blame the lure completely, outside of it's just not what they bass are going for at a given moment. However, starting to do something RIGHT would help me learn better than never having success.
