>>137675Storm? Those look like (light) afternoon rain clouds to me. Harmless, and predictable if you're at all paying attention to the sky. Come to the Midwest if you want to see actual storm clouds. Holy shit it's not even comparable unless you're talking about experiencing one of those 1 in 20 year storms that hit the mountains, and even then you'd have to experience it from above 11,000 feet with no trees around to even come close to the amount of wind and rain that Midwestern thunderstorms produce several hundred times per year.
I went to visit my family in Missouri last month, and three storms passed through over the course of 8 days, two producing tornadoes, and one of those had strong enough winds near where I was to snap small trees (talking 3-6" diameter) in half right at the trunk.
