Whenever I search wool ponchos or any kind of "old time" clothing they look really flimsy. Is there a good brand out there?
I'd be wearing them when I'm deep outside, not like to the mall.

Do people sew their own gear for real? Doesn't seem like a hard pattern. Think there is an Etsy market for well made outdoor stuff? I bet I could make a good thick one for like 30-40 buck material.

Would anyone buy one for 15$ above cost to cover my labor?

Breddy gud, though I think they use surplus fabric. Probably found some old stocks and will never be able to replace it once its's gone, they complain like crazy about not finding wool fabric for their other stuff.
