>>1373311It’s one of my favorite lights, been my normal EDC for like two years. One thing I like is the tube is large enough for really large 3600mha protected 18650, so you can get even longer battery life than advertised. My biggest problem is the pocket clip has soft cross point screws, so I ended up stripping them once, but they have large enough head for pliers to work.
At first the mode selection was odd, but it is actually one of the most intuitive single button interfaces I’ve ever used.
Fast press: burst mode
Press and hold: it cycles low medium and high till you let go on the level you want.
Once you pick between low meniun and high, you can double click to cycle between two lows, two mediums, and two highs.
3 fast clicks for strobe, and 4 fast clicks for battery level (x out of 4 flashes).
Like I said, it’s actually really intuitive after a little practice. One thing it lacks is momentary on, but the firefly is so low and easy to switch up from, I don’t mind.
