Whereinheck do you find channel cats that green? We've got nothing but dark green water for hundreds of miles (literally, I live in west Texas) and all the channel cats are silver/gray.

Yeah, fingerlings from most of the cat breeds tend to look alike. Not sure about scale on this pic. Is that fish about a foot long? If so, it should be its adult color and that's odd coloration.

In all seriousness, though, I'm sort of confused by it. I want to say channel cat but like others mentioned, the coloring is off. Though I've caught plenty of fish that have had abnormal coloring, like a pure silver rock bass. At least I believe it was a rock bass.

Any fish-bio buffs will tell you, there are just too damn many catfish species and not enough people to devote a career to that. I've read plenty of articles which will recall how they just lumped several, clearly distinct fish in one family because of the sheer multitude they discover on each trip into certain waters. South America is a big one. Thousands of miles of untapped rivers with some of the most bio-deverse abundance of life on the earth.
