Hey /out/. Never posted here

I've not been hunting since I was around the age of 15. I'm 27 now. I pretty much lost all interest in it and didn't have much interest in it when I was younger. I mostly went to spend time with my dad and not for the hunt. Well it's getting cold out and a few weeks ago I saw 2 Doe in my neighbors front yard. I had just got home from work and tried to sneak up on them but they saw/heard me and fled.

Ever since then I can't get the idea of going hunting off my mind. I keep looking at gear online. I call my dad up just to talk about hunting. And I've been watching outdoor shows non-stop. It's like a really bad itch that I just can't scratch.

This weekend I'm visiting my parents and I'm going to adjust the scope on my muzzleloader and buy hunting license and deer tags. I'm going to participate in the upcoming muzzleloader season for whitetail in my area.

What happened? Has anything like this happened to any of you? How did it end?

Also if anyone wants to share some hunting stories or just talk about hunting in general I'm all for it. Because I just can't get enough right now
