2 man is alright. Its mostly just gonna be me and my stuff or maybe one other person

The Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2 weighs half as much as the Poler and only costs a little more. I use a Seedhouse SL1 over 180 nights last year and it is still going strong.

One thing to be aware of is that a 2 person tent isn't sufficient for two people unless you are:
a) 12
b) A guy and a girl
c) Gay lovers

I know nothing about those tents and as an aussie those brands mean nothing to me. Honestly, for basic weekend car camping any tent around the $100 AUD (not sure how that would compare to USD) is more than sufficient.

For car camping I use a Eureka tetragon 120, two poles easy set up. I used to have a Beckel Canvas Miner's Tent, but gave it to my brother as it was a bitch to set up. >>137812 is right about the tent size. I have four or five tents and a bivvy, you don't take the same stuff car camping that you do backpacking, why should a tent be any different. I like to be able to stand up in my tent.

the only reason I chose these is because Huckberry usually chooses good shit for their storefront.

I'll check out the Tetragon. If I'm going out for awhile I'd love one of those. bring a fold up table too for writing, and shit.

Rule of thumb for me is subtract 1 man from the selling title, and put gear in instead, depending on how much you carry.
2 man = 1 man+pack
