Rather, giving them away to corporations to take care of instead. That's why many internet based companies boast that their servers run "in the Swiss mountains" -- many of the bunkers exist as server rooms now, not emergency shelters.
Sometimes the bunkers are simply left abandoned to slowly crumble.
For this reason, any /out/ists planning on exploring an abandoned swiss bunker would do well do tread carefully.
Its probably fine, just keep in mind its likely no longer up to safety regulations.
