>>1376984>How much money and training time do I need to spend to get to the top of a mountain like pic related?Depends on where you are, your general skills and fitness and what kind of mountain you really want.
If you just want a fashionalbe instagram pic, like your pic related, you need zero skills and only the money for the gas and the ticket to your next skiing resort with a cable car and a "wild" viewpoint next to it, plus whatever your fancy instagram ready gear costs.
But I assume you want an experience that's a tad more real?
Still, I'd look for some area with some infrastructure, so that you don't have to bother with way finding or judging dificulties, times and disctances, but can simply pick an easy hike beforehand and try it without getting lost.
Apart from that,
>>1377000 is correct.
You probably won't need some full on mountaineering boots, but you absolutely gotta make sure that you have something on your feet with good rubber (that wont turn into slippery bars of soap when wet) and a profile for rough terrain, and yeah, make sure that your clothing has some reservers for shitty weather. I.e. avoid cotton and have a rainjacket with you, even when it's warm and sunny.
And as already said: Start out easy!
It's better to arrive at some "boring" mountaintop only to realize that you could have picked something higher (you can simply do so the next time), instead of getting helicoptered out (or worse) of some cool mountainface that was a tad too much for you.
